The best!

I've got my 3rd brew in it, and I'm loving it. Customer service is outstanding. Just waiting on out of stock items, so I can order more.

Love the product (I know it's what counts) Hate the logo

Experience was great. You cannot go wrong with Spike. I have the CF5 and the CF10. Both are amazing quality and functionality. So it is bittersweet that I just have to say I hate the new logo. It's taped on letters, not etched. It doesn't reflect the awesome Milwaukee heritage (which of course being from Wisconsin is probably more meaningful to me than someone from somewhere else.) But it had the barley, the big SB and again, the MILWAUKEE. AND it was etched - which required a little extra attention when cleaning with BKF. But the new logo could be Spike anything. It could be Spike underwear. And it's taped on letters so remember what it's like to try and wax your classic car when you get to the areas of the decals? Trust me, I get it. It's the world we live in. Got be a catchy, stylin' eye grabbing logo but seriously you are selling a product for making beer and you're located in one of the most historic brewing cities in the world. Show the Milwaukee, show the barley and show the SB. Not some super-hero fancy "S' that sells t-shirts. If I sound upset, I am not. I would recommend Spike's equipment over anyone's hands down. I would definitely buy again. This is in no way an opinion on the product. You will love it! But please give me the SB, etched and the Milwaukee. :)

Deeply Regret the Purchase

For years, I loved brewing using my glass carboys and the stainless steel fermenters I picked up. I decided to upgrade to one large 14 gallon conical with the bells and whistles for special batches. When the fermenter came, I was initially hesitant to use it because it looked so gorgeous and shiny. Everything fit together perfectly and had the right balance between heft(thick, quality steel) and weight. So why do I regret purchasing it? Because once I started using it, I started buying all the additions to really maximize utility. And, once I had all of those, I can't go back to my caveman days of carboys. What was once a joy has turned into me being forever unsatisfied until I upgrade all my fermenters to these. Damn you Spike!
