Our engineers have totally redesigned the 2" TC sight glass from the ground up! Standard sight glasses use 4 long bolts that need to be tightened in a criss-cross pattern to get even pressure to avoid leaks. Our new design is made up of only 5 parts compared to 26 parts in a standard sight glass. No tools are required to assemble or disassemble; simply twist the knurled end cap off. The glass is also protected by the stainless guard which protects the glass from even the clumsiest brewer. 

The sight glass allows for direct attachment to the bottom port of our conicals. The sight glass allows for monitoring flow, color and clarity. The 2" sight glass is also helpful when collecting yeast with our conical fermenters.

-6” long
-25% lighter than standard 4 bolt sight glasses

Well built, solid piece of kit.

The design, fit and finish, as well as the cool factor are all top notch with this sight glass. Seals up tight, allows me to see what’s going on with fermentation, easily comes apart for cleaning and sanitizing, looks great on my CF-10. When the need arises, I’ll buy another.

this was a great addition

this was a great addition to my CF-5. Very high quality construction, just like every other piece of Spike equipment. I was concerned about how easy it would be to take apart to clean, but there was nothing to it. Before I remove it from my conical, I loosen the body for cleaning. I found this is the easiest way to loosen or tighten the body. As we all know, when cleaning or sanitizing, our hands are wet and anything made of glass becomes very slippery. - I don't want to drop it! Thanks Spike for your continued attention to quality and detail. Whenever I purchase something from you guys, I know it will be high quality.
