Overview
Our thermowell features a 1/4" temp probe opening on the outside which is mounted to a 1.5" TC fitting. This allows it to attach directly to the sanitary TC fitting on a kettle or fermenter. That enables for an optional digital temp sensor to be inserted and read the temperatures inside the vessel.
Pro Tip: The thermowell can be packed with thermal grease to help temperature response times.

It works very well. Temperature reading appears to be accurate and I do not use any additional thermogel. The inner diameter actually fits both of my probes which is a small convenience for my individual setup.
