Best bang for your buck!

This is probably the cleanest looking and easiest to use PRV out there. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Plus not have some monstrosity on top of your shiny new conical is nice.

Switched from blow off tube to Spike All-in-One

First batch using my new Spike PRV and everything working as planned. Nothing tricky about it. Easy to set up and use. Using with a Spike 7-gallon conical (CF5). I'm going to add a 1/4" hose with a small valve to the drain fitting.

Parts Changed?

I love the PRV. I have one that I got when they first came out the dial on top is stainless like the whole prv. The new one has a black plastic dial. I was not expecting this. Otherwise awesome!

Great loking valve

WEorkds as intended but two things, one I would have loved the handle in steel and a taller cup, I know it means a taller valve but it foams all over the place!

Not as good as my other spunding valve

I ordered this after I dropped and broke my old spunding valve cup. This valve works, but I am disappointed in some of it's drawbacks. It is considerably more difficult to see the fermentation activity in the Spike spunding valve when compared with my other valve, especially when fermentation slows down. The release is also touchier, so it is easy to accidently open the valve when not intended. There is no scale on this unit, while my other spunding valve doesn't have a perfectly accurate scale, and it's in bars for some reason, at least it has a scale. This allows me to roughly set the pressure I want and walk away, returning to fine tune the valve once pressure has built up naturally. The built in pressure gauge is an interesting idea, but I discovered some part of this gauge will rust if left in a pbw bath. I can simply put a sanitary T on my fermenter and attach a pressure gauge with my old spunding valve, and these parts can go into a bath without worrying about rust. Lastly, and this might just be me because I brew in the same area as our greenhouse, the overly wide cup attracts a lot of gnats and fruit flies. I've never had much of a bug problem with my other valve that uses a narrower cup. I've repaired my old valve and I am going back to that one. I'll keep the spike valve on a shelf as a backup in case I break my old one again.

Adjustable

The All-In-One PRV is fully adjustable from 0-15psi. Simply twist the top adjustment knob to increase or decrease the pressure inside your fermenter. This allows for use with everything from pressure fermenting, spunding, carbonating or even pressure transfers to kegs. Brew smarter, not harder.

Safety First, Beer Second

CO2 produced by yeast must be handled carefully, otherwise the vessel can become over pressurized, making it very dangerous. This is why a large-port robust PRV is so important. A PRV is designed to automatically vent CO2 gas from inside your fermenter at a set pressure. Since Spike fermenters are designed for 15psi, that’s what the All-In-One PRV is designed to release at. The seal and spring lifts to allow it to escape or “bubble out.”

All-In-One

There’s a lot of PRV options out there, but the Spike All-In-One PRV combines all those features and then some in one sleek design. It has an adjustable pressure release knob, pressure gauge, gas post, quick release plunger and sanitizer cup with drain.

Pressure and Vacuum Release

Not only does the All-In-One have an adjustable pressure release but it also has a 1psi vacuum release and quick pressure release! Done fermenting or need to bleed off pressure? Simply lightly push down on the top plunger to bleed off the desired amount of pressure from your fermenter.

Sanitizer Cup

During development, the number one request from BETA testers was to add a sanitizer cup. The sanitizer cup acts as an airlock to let gas escape but doesn’t let air back in which can cause an infection. The cup also has a built-in quick drain barb so you can quickly and easily drain the sanitizer before depressurizing so you don’t end up getting a sanitizer shower.

1.5” Universal Fitting

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again—when it comes to safety, bigger is better! The All-In-One PRV uses a huge 1.5” TC fitting, which virtually eliminates the chances of it ever getting clogged. Many competitor PRVs have much smaller openings, which can get clogged with hops or krausen.
