Lately we've seen quite a few conical setups that could use a couple additional lid ports. So we did just that; now offering our new 3 port conical lid!

The new lid with three 1.5" tri-clamps offers dedicated ports for the following:

Blow Off Port – Dedicated port for an airlock or blow off tube
Hop Port – Dedicated port for adding hops
PRV Port – Dedicated port for your pressure relief valve (PRV)

-3 Port Flex Lid
-(2) 1.5" Caps
-(2) 1.5" Clamps
-(2) 1.5" Gasket

Sorry to see the old one go...

but it was in the trash soon after I received the new three port lid for my CF-10. I no longer need the cross coupler to get three ports on one--I can dedicate one port to PRV, one to blow off / spunding and one to dry hop additions. What would I change: One of the ports should have been a 2" port as hops have a hard time getting through a 1.5" valve. But it works. I would also have preferred not to have the ports labelled--the brewer decides what each port is used for. This is a huge improvement and I'm happy to have it.

Very functional upgrade

I brewed my first 3 port batch. This change is a serious upgrade over the single port lid. It makes fermenting and dry hopping a breeze. By not having to remove the blow off to dry hop. And coldcrashing is much easier also. I usually put 2-3 lbs of co2 pressure to account for the loss in volume while cooling. Neat upgrade and worth the price.

3 port lid review

The lid works fine. A couple of comments from my perspective. 1) not sure that the separate prv and blow off ports are necessary. To me the prv is used when the blow off is not, thus the blow off has to be removed. If so, remove and place prv on the same port. 2) I'd rather have a single prv/blow off port and a large pry hop port. The larger dry hop ort to allow for mesh bag dry hop removal, 3) happ to have lids where the gasket fits snug. My previous lids didn't hold the gasket in after they were sanitized. Other brewers I know have had the same issue.
