Solo panel
Unable to get it to work with current GFI not sure what to buy because it might just happen again. My old system with two elements works just fine on the GFI.
Outstanding Controller!
I started with a Solo system that was equipped with a third party controller. It was adequate, but required my engineering degree to master the PID so that the brew was, in fact, "controlled". The new Solo controller is not only designed and manufactured in house, but is remarkably intuitive and and easy to set in a rapid manner. The LCD screen is exceptionally easy to read and understand, so status is not something that must be deciphered.
Move to electric... Fantastic!
In the process of setting up a new space, we had the opportunity to go electric. After considering various options we went with the Spike Solo Panel. We feel we absolutely made the best choice. While we had an issue initially, which turned out to be a faulty power cable, it was quickly resolve. The customer service department at Spike is FANTASTIC (literally couldn't say enough great things about them), they had us up and running in no time. Using the panel is great, the user interface is straightforward and easy to use, all the switches have such a satisfying feel to them, and I've never brought water to a boil so quickly; definitely won't miss those open flames. While we got this primarily for our tonic making business (thus all the fruit in the photo), don't worry, well will use it for it's intended beer making purpose, too. Best Control panel I have ever used
I am lucky enough to have owned a few different brand controllers. This is my third and is the easiest to use, no confusing menus just simple and love being able to see temp from across the room. I have used it on 3 brew days in the past month and its nothing but amazing. Im hard on equipment and will put spikes slogan to the test. Bomb Brew Out!
Turnkey
The perfect way to enter the world of electric brewing. No autotune necessary, it's ready to go right out of the box. Why? Because of countless hours of testing and development. The NEW Solo Panel is efficient, reliable and super easy to use.
Versatile
Every brewer has a different ideal setup, and we get that. Which is why you can mount the Solo Panel on the wall (vertically), to a table or brew bench (horizontal) or use the new Solo Panel Stand to connect it to the Solo Brew Table for the ultimate look. Flexible plug ends come out of the back and can be oriented in any direction with built-in cable hooks to help manage routing.
Ease of Use
The Spike Solo Panel is so easy your mom (or grandma!) could use it. We know this because we specifically designed it that way. No need to worry about faulty WiFi, bluetooth, having a touch screen go dark on you or an app crashing and ruining the Brew Day. This panel is simple to use and looks darn good. End of story.
Assembled at Spike
Not only is the NEW Solo Panel assembled meticulously at Spike, but we built a room specifically for putting all the electrical elements together. We take pride in our work and like to apply the age old saying to as much of our equipment as we can—"if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself!"
