Each CF lid comes with three TC ports:
Blow Off Port – Dedicated port for an airlock or blow off tube
Hop Port – Dedicated port for adding hops
PRV Port – Dedicated port for your pressure relief valve (PRV)

United StatesReally hate that I bought an extra sample valve because it wasn't clear that the fermenter came with one. Really hate the gasket and lid clamp so far. Not happy about the assembly of the main dump value and elbow...seems that I had to angle it so that I could actually operate the value. So far, not thrilled with my purchase.

I have only assembled this item so far but the amount of care and quality that has gone into this product is amazing. Every critical feature is packaged for protection, and assembly is a breeze. This piece of equipment is robust and I expect it to last my whole home brewing career. Can’t wait to try it out! 5/5 stars for sure.

I haven't used it yet so I can't comment on actual usage. I researched it while my last batch was in progress and wanting to improve my process. I'm super excited to use it with my next batch. Just looking over it and checking the connections, it seems incredibly well built. The add-ons are fantastic, although I wish some came standard because they are pricey, but then again you are getting top quality gear. Do your research, but I think you'll find spike conical are the way to go.
United StatesEverything is great except the lid
This fermenter would be perfect if they just went with a tri clover fitting on the lid. Getting the gasket correct and the clamp tightened properly is a huge pain. I should have to spend hours troubleshooting a lid to get it to sit properly. I love every other product I have got from spike but this is not one of them.

Minor inconvenience with the v1 seal. I fermented a west coast ipa under pressure and was barely getting 10 psi. I depressurized and tightened the HELLout of the band clamp and seemed to fix it. PRV was on and held to 15psi. I contacted spike about the pressure issue and they sent me the new version of the gasket - best customer service! Super anticipating a jacketed model!
