Great element that was needed after I finally managed to fry my original on my Solo. My only gripe is how long it took to get it in the mail. It shipped out in 2 days but took another 8 days to get here via fedex. Might as well have sent it via Amish carrier. Other than that solid experience as always.

Hi Spike, I bit the bullet and decided to get a spare element. Main reason was that i seem to get stuck mashes quite a bit and had one element burn out when I did not catch it in time. I found that using a pound of rice hulls seems to help to avoid this with my 20 gal Solo. The new element is great and a nice addition to my brew tools. Cheers, Curt in Batavia
