Our 1.5" TC thermometer will connect directly to the 1.5" port on your kettle. There is no need for a thermowell which allows for quicker more accurate temp readings. It can be used with direct fired kettles but avoid having the flame lapping directly onto the thermometer.

**A 1.5" gasket and clamp will need to be purchased separately if you do not already have spares**

Fogs up and can't read the temperature when in use

It didn't leak so that's a plus but rather difficult to read an accurate temperature with it all fogged up

Easy Calibration, Install, and Clean

The TC Thermometer is a great tool to verify its digital counterparts. The calibration is easily attained with the calibration screw. No mess with thermal grease in the thermowell, and easy to clean and sanitize.
