All pumps are not equal! Our engineers tested over 15 pumps during the development of this project and found almost all small submersible pumps on the market are grossly overrated. This can greatly affect your temperature control as flow rate is directly proportional to cooling efficiency.

-High flow submersible pump
-3/8" barbed outlet (connect directly to our insulated tubing)
-12v DC powered (much safer than AC submersible pumps)
-Suction cups to keep pump submerged

Small and Gets the Job Done

The pump works as described. Using it as part of the fermenter cooling coil setup. Used it for the first time just the last week. Overall is very quiet and pushes enough water to get the beer down in temp efficiently. Overall is a small size, which makes it easy to fit any any size cooler. Suction cups are a nice little feature, so it stays put below the surface of the water.

Nice little pump

This is a handy little pump. Not sure how it compares to aquarium pumps from Amazon or the fancy brewing-specific ones, but it definitely gets the job done. Great for circulating sanitizer and cleaning products too. An in-line switch somewhere would be nice, rather than having to unplug every time you want to turn off.
